Holiday Inn Express Fort Wayne-East (New Haven) by IHG

Reading some of the reviews before our stay, I was a little bit anxious, but after my stay, I now see some of these commenter have a flare for theatrics Right when you walk in is a sign letting all guests know that the property is under going renovations, this is also posted in the elevator. This gave me the knowledge that some things may be less than perfect, but the company is actively trying to improve the property! I think one review mentioned a lack of baseboards, which later made me giggle as it is very obvious carpet is being replaced in the hallways, again they are renovating!! What do people expect The staff were very friendly & attentive. Katori & April were very talkative & had some good recommendations for a beer & wings near by! Hotel was clean & comfortable. My room was cleaned by Angel & she did a very good job. The breakfast girl, starts with an L, was friendly, she seems new, but was doing a very good job. Overall, I was please with my stay & I would encourage everyone to developed their own opinions, like I did & I was not disappointed

This hotel is definitely a 5 star hotel!! Wow the rooms were really nice theres shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided to you! Kurig coffee in the room. Very clean room everything was just wow! Oh and pool is inside its warm with a gym as well.

Snowstorm caused us to stop and stay. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Angie and Jan at the front desk was very helpful even though the low temperatures cause a water main break in the area. Breakfast was the best I ever had in a hotel.

Jenn down in the breakfast area was fabulous! I enjoyed her sunny, cheerful disposition and she was very helpful with finding me jelly and some other items I was seeking for breakfast. I enjoyed a chat with her as she worked, and left the hotel with a smile on my face. It was a great way to start my day.

Jan is the best! Everyone here is amazing! John on nights is always telling me what drinks they stocked and any new food items, Chrystal has always been very patient with me and the manager has done a great job making sure this place is a home away from home. I’ve stayed here for almost a month straight for work. Hands down the best holiday inn around the area

My stay at this Holiday Inn was largely wonderful, as the service and overall atmosphere were truly great. However, the in-room entertainment experience fell a bit short because the television technology was lacking. It was frustrating to find no menu or guide option to browse the channels, making it difficult to see what was playing without manually cycling through them. While this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise excellent visit, an update to the TV interface would certainly bring the room up to the high standard set by the rest of the hotel's amenities.

Hotel is nice and undergoing renovations. The rooms look great. Housekeeping does well & the new breakfast ladies were very kind. The staff who checked me in, Jan, was kind and helpful. The checkout girl, I did not catch her name, was on her phone at the desk, sounded like a loud call on speaker phone. She was very uninterested in anything else going on around her outside of her call. Overall a good stay, but a few member of staff could use additional coaching.

Great location - can see sign from I465 @ US 30 on east side of Ft Wayne (New Haven) IN. Clean & well maintained. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Hot breakfast with multiple choices. Hostess(Jen) was extra helpful and friendly. She chatted with guests as she kept an ample supply of each item.
